What’s New in v0.2.0
Desktop App for macOS
Crawler now has a desktop app. It wraps the same crawling engine as the CLI into a visual interface with real-time feedback as pages are crawled.
The app includes 9 dashboard cards:
- Live Feed - watch pages stream in as they’re crawled
- SEO Issues - see all 18 SEO check categories at a glance
- Page Status - status code distribution across your crawl
- Redirects - redirect chains and loops, visualized
- Settings - configure concurrency, depth, delay, and more
- Downloads - export crawl data as JSON, sitemap, or llms.txt
- Content - browse extracted markdown content (Pro)
- Newsletter - stay updated on new releases
- Account - manage your subscription and authentication
One Subscription, Both Apps
Your crawler.sh account works across CLI and desktop. Sign in once and your plan limits apply everywhere - no separate licenses.
Install
Download the macOS DMG from crawler.sh/download or use the CLI installer:
curl -fsSL https://install.crawler.sh | shSecurity Updates
This release also includes security hardening for the desktop app, API, and install pipeline.
